Day 12

We all work hard to be self sufficient. We want to be our own man or woman, not dependent on anyone or anything. While this may be a lofty goal in our culture, when it comes to the kingdom of God it is quite the opposite. God does not want us self sufficient, He wants us dependent on Him. To try and navigate your way on your own is not only self centered, it's dangerous.

"Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture." Psalm 100:3

If we want to experience the peace and presence of God, we must trust Him enough to surrender control of our lives and allow Him to sit in the pilot seat instead of the passenger's. I promise you, if we will allow the Lord to do the driving we are going to enjoy the journey so much more! Just ask Paul...

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

So go ahead, take a moment right now to change drivers, you'll be glad you didde09.
