Day 7

Our God is a God of multiplication and increase. It is His intent for us to grow.

Like we take great joy in our children's first steps, God rejoices to see us move forward in him. Aren't you glad we have a God that seeks us out to wrap His loving arms around us and lift us from the place we are at to a place of increase.

Just ask Abraham who experienced the multiplication of the Lord in a greater measure than anyone before him.

"And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; " Genesis 26:24

The good news is God still desires to see us increase, and the spirit of multiplication will overtake us when we act on His word.

"For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you." 2 Corinthians 9:10

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10

So we continue to show forth the blessing of God to this world.

In the past God hid this mystery, but now he has revealed it to his people. God wanted his people throughout the world to know the glorious riches of this mystery—which is Christ living in you, giving you the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27
