Day 11

A little girl's mother was tucking her in bed for the night and assuring her there was no reason to be afraid. Her little heart pounded fast as she peered into the darkness of the room, but then she looked through the window and saw the moon shining bright. "Is that God's light?" she ask her mother. Her mother smiled and said, "Yes honey, that's God's light." The little girl smiled and said, Well as long as God's awake, I'm not afraid to go to sleep. "Then she rolled over and closed her eyes.

What comfort to know we need not fear the darkness. Before there was ever a Motel 6, God was keeping the light on for us!

"....He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps IsraelShall neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:3-4

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." 1Peter 2:9
