Day 14

We all live by ology's, a belief system, a subject of study, a branch of knowledge we have. These are the things we hold in our hearts and try to live by. They do not replace the word of God, they are an accompaniment to the word, based on or derived through the word. Here is one of my ology's. I WOULD RATHER TRY AND FAIL THAN FAIL TO TRY. Because IF I TRY AND FAIL I WILL LIVE TO TRY AGAIN, But IF I FAIL TO TRY I WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT GOD WOULD HAVE DONE. God ask Abraham to leave his father's house and land to go to a land he would show him. What if Abraham had been to afraid to try? What if he had stayed in his father's house and not left the land he was in? He would have never experienced the promise we see today as the nation of Israel, and though Jesus would still have come, it would not have been through Abraham. That's an awful lot to lose just because you are afraid to try. So take that first step, press toward the prize, spread your wings for flight, you might just be amazed at how high God allows you to soar!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
