Day 16 - I Have A Dream

Everyone has dreams and everyone has a plan for their life. Some have it perfectly played out step by step according to what they think is best. Others are just going to figure it out as they go with the flow (that’s still a plan). However it may be, we all have a way that seems right to us. Proverbs 16:25 says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” We can try to make everything happen our way, but our way will always end in death.

Good news, God has offered us a way out! Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your work to The Lord, and your plans will be established.” If we are working with Jesus, we are capable of doing more than we ever dreamed to do. That is because God’s plan for our life is always greater than our own plans. If we make the plan, "God, I'll do whatever you tell me to do", He will work for his glory and for your good.

What is your dream? What have you always wanted to accomplish? Unless you commit your work to The Lord, the way that seems fit to you will certainly lead to your destruction. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:31, “Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” When we do everything for God’s glory, we will see his awesome plan for our life unfold!

PRAY and ask God to show you your next step in your relationship with Jesus. Your next step is the part of God’s plan that you can act on NOW. His plans are always greater than our own.
