READ Proverbs 20

We all try to keep up appearances, and reputation is important, but who are you when no one is watching?

“The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord searching all his innermost parts” Proverbs 20:27

Jesus knows who you are when no one is watching. He knows your thoughts, your intentions, dreams, desires, motives and heart. The big idea here is that, who you are on the inside is way greater than who you are in front of others, because the person no one sees is the real you.

Today ask Jesus to show you what he sees and to help you take steps to be real with him and real with others.

What steps are you going to take to sync your private and public life?

PRAY Lord, help me to be transparent, to be real about the issues I deal with. I want to be more like you and I know that I will never be able to lead others in public if i can't lead myself in private. Remove the things that don't need to be in my life and replace them with what does.
