Day 31 - Girl Talk

READ Proverbs 31

“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30

When you read all of Proverbs 31 you probably think to yourself… wow… this lady does it all. True, she is a great example of what we are called to be as women who follows Jesus. But there is something we have to do first before living a life like this even matters. First things first, if you will :p

First ladies, fear the Lord. Make a habit of focusing on Jesus and doing what he tells you. That’s the real secret to being a Proverbs 31 woman.

Dudes, verses 28 & 29 are the kind of things you want to be able to say about your lady one day, “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”

Here is the goal…

Ladies, do your best every day to seek after Jesus and to become the women that he has called you to be. Guys, keep in mind that this is the kind of woman that you want one day but for NOW just do all you can every day to know Jesus better than you did the day before.
