Day 14 - Jesus, More Than We Deserve

READ Proverbs 14

“A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body; jealousy is like cancer in the bones.” Proverbs 14:30

Envy and jealousy are toxic. Whether we are jealous of someone else’s possessions, popularity, sporting achievements, appearance, or opportunities, the Bible tells us that this kind of thinking is sinful and harmful. The wise celebrate what other people have while being thankful for what God has given them.

We will never truly see how greatly blessed our own lives are if we are constantly looking at the lives of other people. But because of Jesus, our hearts can be content and at peace. If Jesus is all you have then you have all you need and more than you’ll ever deserve.

PRAY and repent of the jealousy and envy in your heart and thank God for everything He has given you. Remind yourself that Jesus is all that you need.
