Day 19 - Your Future, God's Plan

READ Proverbs 19

Sometimes making decisions about the future can be totally overwhelming… especially when you can’t even decide what you want to eat for lunch. It seems like from the moment you hit puberty you are supposed to know what career path you’re going to take. Thankfully, that is not the case.

Proverbs 19:21 says, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

Regardless of the plans we have for the future, we can trust that God’s purpose will prevail. While we should still plan for our future, we can have peace knowing that it doesn’t all depend on us because the future is not in our hands…it’s in God’s.

When it comes to your future, don’t be a control freak; instead trust that the Lord is in control.

PRAY that the Lord would reveal to you the way He wants you to go, and trust that as you walk through life. God will accomplish His perfect plan in you and through you.
