Day 23 - Hope For Your Future

READ Proverbs 23

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to not be you for a day? Like if you could just trade lives with that person. Don't we all want this sometimes? We’re all guilty of comparison.

What about when you see good things happen to bad people? Doesn’t it sometimes feel like people have more fun if they aren’t Christians? When life gets hard, it can be easy to want what others have.

In Proverbs 23, God tells us that we should not desire what others have because He has even greater for us.

“Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. There is surely a future hope for you and your hope will not be cut off.”Proverbs 23:17-18

Instead of wanting what others have, enjoy the life you are living. Don't settle for what is"now", believe in hope that God has a plan for your future. Remember, a growing relationship with Jesus is the key to joy that lasts.

PRAY for God to give you a greater hope in whatever situation you are in. Ask for him to give you joy in your circumstances and hope for your future.
