Day 3 - Know It All

READ Proverbs 3

People sometimes act like they know it all…but when it comes to God, He actually does know it all.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5)

“Do not be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil” (Proverbs 3:7)

As young people, we have a tendency to think that we know it all. But the reality is that we don't know it all and it's a dangerous mindset and attitude to have. How many times have you done something you thought would be great only to be disappointed or pay the price later? No matter how wise or right we think we are at the time, we must submit every plan we make or opinion we have to the wisdom of God. We must trust that He not only knows it all but that He also knows what’s best.

God wants the best for you and for your future, and because He knows immeasurably more than we ever could. We must choose to trust in and rely on the wisdom revealed in His Word instead of on our own beliefs.

PRAY right now that the Lord would teach you to not be wise in your own eyes, but to trust Him with all your heart and to rely and lean on His understanding…He really does know it all!
