Day 11 - More Than Money

READ Proverbs 11

Godly living is generous living. God challenges us to be generous people who give freely to others, and he assures us that by doing so, we will be truly blessed.

“Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” Proverbs 11:24-25

You may be like, “Dude. I’m 13. I don’t have any money.” Don’t excuse yourself from living generously because you don’t have a job; generous living involves more than money. Typically, young people don’t have a lot to offer financially. However, we are rich in time, talent, energy, and attitude. We can be generous toward others in service, friendship, and forgiveness.

Evaluate your life. Do you spend all of your time, talent, and treasure on yourself or for other people?

PRAY and ask God to reveal to you an area in your life where you are being stingy, and create an opportunity this week to be generous instead!
